How does TanArt™ stickers work? A. The ingredient in TanArt™ sticker that gives you the tanned image is dihydroxyacetone (DHA). DHA is a colorless sugar that darkens the skin. It does its work by interacting with the dead skin cells found in the uppermost layer of the skin, producing a color change. As the dead skin cells are naturally sloughed off, the color gradually fades. DHA is what is used in self-tanning lotions. Q. What is the best way to remove TanArt™ sticker from sheet? A. Start by removing TanArt™ sticker at the largest area with finger tips. SLOWLY pull TanArt™ sticker off while not allowing areas to touch or fold over on to itself. Wash hands after applying. Q. How can I remove the TanArt™ sticker image? A. This is not easily done, especially with a new TanArt™ sticker image. However, the TanArt™ sticker image can be removed by exfoliating the uppermost layer of the skin with a strong exfoliate sold in drug stores. This may take a couple of treatments to completely remove.

Can I shower with TanArt™ sticker on? A. Yes, you can shower with TanArt™ sticker on. We actually recommend this so the TanArt™ sticker image does not get washed off in the shower. After removing Tan-Art™ sticker do not wash areas were TanArt™ sticker image is for a couple of hours. Q. Can I shower after TanArt™ sticker tanned image develops? A. Yes, you can shower with the developed TanArt™ sticker tanned image. Soap and water will not remove the TanArt™ sticker tanned image.

Q. Can I go into the sun with my TanArt™ sticker image? A. Yes you can, however, remember that the TanArt™ sticker image contains no UV protection and sunburn can still occur. Also deep tanning will diminish the contrast between your skin and the TanArt™ sticker image thus reducing the appearance of your TanArt™ sticker image. Q. Can I swim with my TanArt™ sticker while applied to my skin? A. Swimming with your TanArt™ sticker is not recommended. Due to the increased water saturation and activity this could lead to your decal coming off. Q. Will swimming effect my TanArt™ sticker image? A. Yes, excessive swimming will act like an exfoliate which will accelerate the fading process and reduce the length of time your TanArt™ sticker image will remain visible.  Q. Sometimes after removing the TanArt™ sticker I see a little of the adhesive still on my skin. What should I do about this? A. After letting the Tan-Art™ sticker image dry and set up for a couple of hours lightly rub adhesive off your skin with fingers. Doing this in the shower the next day works best.
